About Us
The Jazz Club of WA
The Jazz Club of Western Australia is a non-profit organization that was founded in 1983 to support and promote traditional jazz music in the state of Western Australia. The club is run by a committee of dedicated jazz-loving volunteers.

We aim to provide a platform for local jazz musicians to showcase their talents and connect with audiences. We feature a mix of established and emerging artists.

We present the best of local vintage jazz every Tuesday in the Milk Bar band room in the Civic Hotel. It's a classic room with a great feel.

Traditional jazz is very much alive in Perth, with seasoned veterans and passionate up and coming musicians bouncing off each other.
Our club is enabled by a group of hard-working volunteers. Entry is reasonable, and after running costs, the door fees pay the musicians.

The Jazz Club of Western Australia is a vital part of the WA jazz community, providing a platform for local musicians, educating the next generation of jazz enthusiasts, and fostering a greater appreciation for this rich and vibrant genre of music.
