Band Coordination

We pride ourselves on being a destination for some of the best live jazz music in Perth. One of the ways we achieve this is through careful coordination of our bands.

 

The Band Coordinator, with the support of the Vice-President, curates and organises the bands. Members and visitors provide feedback to the committee. We work diligently to select performers who are suited to the occasion. Every performance is unique, and we strive to tailor our bands to the specific needs of each event.

We’re committed to traditional jazz in all its forms, and we endeavour to provide a variety of styles and musicians throughout the year.

We are always seeking new bands and are willing to promote young talented musicians. We are especially interested in bands that can draw a crowd.

We believe that jazz music is a vibrant and constantly evolving art form, and we are committed to showcasing the best and brightest as well as up and coming musicians.

We would love to hear from prospective bands - we are always on the lookout for talented jazz musicians who can bring something new and exciting to our stage.
